Delete your account

You can delete your CatchBag account and everything in it from this page — you don’t need the app installed and you don’t need to be signed in. Enter your account email, enter the 6-digit code we send you, and confirm. Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone.

This deletes your account across every CatchBag app your email is registered with.

• your profile: name, display name, email, phone number, date of birth and gear list;
• every catch you’ve logged, including its photos, location and measurements;
• every trip you’ve created, with its checklists, plans and GPS tracks;
• your entries, registrations, scores and waiting-list places in other people’s events;
• all of your Mr. Hook conversations, including voice sessions and uploaded files;
• your notifications, invitations, push-notification tokens and sign-in history.

If you organise events, those events are deleted too — along with every participant’s registrations, entries, scores and leaderboards for them. If other people are relying on an event you run, hand it over or let it finish before you delete your account.

We keep no copy of your account, and no tombstone or hashed record of your email. Two honest exceptions:

• server logs and our email provider’s delivery logs may contain your email address for a short period before they rotate out;
• support conversations you’ve had with us are held by our support tool — email support@catchbag.co.nz and we’ll delete those too.

Content that no longer identifies you may remain where other people depend on it — for example, an item you were assigned on someone else’s trip checklist stays on their list, unassigned.
